Concert - Music for the Mind
Sunday 24th August brought both the bank holiday weekend and an outdoor charity concert called ‘Music for the Mind’ which was hosted in the Bishops Palace in Wells. Higos were approached to become one of the sponsors of the event and accepted to support the local occasion.
The purpose of the concert was to support the Mind charity so that they continue to provide the much-needed support for those affected by mental ill health. One in four of the UK population will experience a period of mental ill health at some point in their lives and the charity focuses on helping those directly effected and their families.
The entertainment featured special guests such as Celebrity X Factor finalist Matt Stevens from England Rugby who sung and the evening itself was hosted by Richard Wyatt from BBC Radio.
Higos attended the event to promote the Platinum team, a large stand was placed near the main gate and leaflets were given out to spectators.
