Higos Celebrate Spectacular 2008!2012|2011
Higos celebrated a spectacular 2008 at their Annual Conference, recently held at Wincanton Racecourse.
Managing Director Ian Gosden, addressing the 190 strong workforce, reflected on a highly successful year, culminating with Higos being awarded the prestigious title of Independent Regional Broker of the Year 2008 by the Insurance Times. Higos made 14 acquisitions in 2008, including six new high street branches in Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Bournemouth, Corsham, Calne and Devizes.
Mr Gosden was delighted to report phenomenal growth over the past two years, explaining Higos has grown by 64% since 2007 and thanked all staff for their contribution in achieving this success.
Mr Gosden warned that 2009 potentially presented the toughest trading year yet in Higos’ 18 year history. However, with further acquisitions in the pipeline and additional branches opening throughout the south west, Higos are bucking the current economic climate and anticipate employing additional staff over the next 12 months, in order to manage predicted growth.
The first annual conference ended with 8 new awards to the company’s star performers.
