Higos Appoints Retail Branch Director2012|2011
Higos Insurance Services has appointed Chris Scott as Retail Branch Director, as the company continues in the expansion of its successful High Street insurance broker presence.
This newly created role will see Chris responsible for the day-to-day running and development of all the group’s branches. Higos currently has 15 offices but, through acquisitions and organic expansion, expects to be operating 35 branches by 2013.
Chris joins Higos from Lloyds TSB, where he had over 30 years experience in a variety of roles nationwide, most recently as Local Director for 20 of the bank’s branches in the Bristol area.
Higos Insurance Services founder and managing director Ian Gosden said: “Chris has an impressive record of managing branch networks in the financial services industry and will be an excellent addition to the Higos management team.
“His appointment is a vital part of our ambitious expansion plans which will see us dramatically increase and develop our High Street presence over the next three years.”

Higos has branches in Bournemouth, Braunton, Bridgwater, Calne, Chipping Sodbury, Corsham, Devizes, Glastonbury, Langport, Somerton, Street, Wells, Worle, as well as its headquarters also in Wells. It most recently opened a new branch in Totton, Southampton, in November 2010.
