Higos Supports Community Transport Service in LangportMonday 13th August 2012
Higos Insurance Services is delighted to support Links, a community transport service for the resident of Langport, Somerton and neighbouring villages.
Links exists to provide transport to people who are unable to access mainstream transport services or do not have an appropriate mainstream service in their town or village. The project operates from the Langport Information Centre, Bow Street, Langport and serves the residents of Langport, Huish Episcopi, Somerton and many of the neighbouring villages in Area North (including Aller, Curry Mallett, Curry Rivel, Drayton, Fivehead, Hambridge, High Ham, Isle Abbotts, Kingsbury Episcopi, Long Load and Long Sutton).
Martin said “We are thrilled Higos has agreed to donate to Links. Their donation will enable us to continue to provide transport for local people, so they can go shopping and to entertainment venues, as well as essential trips to hospitals.”
Ann Jones commented “As a community based insurance broker with an office in the heart of Langport Higos is delighted to support Links. Martin has explained how much the organisation relies on fundraising to keep going and we are pleased to be able to help.”
