Higos Supports Rowcroft HospiceMonday 10th June 2013
Higos Insurance Services is delighted to support Rowcroft Hospice, a Devon based charity which provides specialist care to patients with progressive, life limiting illnesses. Thomas Holland and Julian Harris, from Higos’ Exeter branch, recently presented a cheque for £250 to Laura Cameron, Community Fundraising Manager for the Rowcroft Hospice.
Rowcroft Hospice is a charity which operates completely independently from the NHS and which provides services without charge. The hospice opened in May 1982 to its first three patients and since then it has expanded to now provide care to over 1,800 patients and their families throughout South Devon each year.
Thomas Holland commented “We are delighted to support the Rowcroft Hospice, a local charity which helps families in our area. Rowcroft relies on charity fundraising to keep going and we are pleased to be able to help.”
Laura Cameron said "We are delighted with the generous donation from Higos Insurance Services. The donation will make a real difference and the incredible generosity of the local community is what enables us to provide care and support to those living with life-limiting illness and their loved ones. Quite simply, we would struggle to provide our care without people and organisations like Higos and we thank them for their support".
