Time Is Precious, is a totally voluntary run charity, helping to improve our local hospitals environment to create a more relaxing atmosphere, to make time in hospital for children and their families little easier, by supplying equipment and refurbishing rooms. The £2,000 donation will go towards an amazing new upcoming project in Yeovil Hospital’s Children’s Ward, to be announced in the coming months.”
Flick Franks of the Higos Community Fund commented “We are thrilled to have donated £2,000 to Time is Precious. This fantastic charity bring a bit of normality into the lives of children who are suffering in hospital. In addition to providing items such as iPads, DVD players and games for the children they also supply essentials for the parent and therapy rooms, sensory equipment, specialised seating and standing frames, as well as undertaking refurbishments of rooms. We wish them all the best for the Yeovil Hospital project and look forward to seeing the results.”
