Higos donates £1,500 to Ups and Downs SouthwestFriday 23rd June 2017
Higos Insurance Services are delighted to support Ups and Downs Southwest and have recently donated £1,500 to help fund their summer trip and rebranding.
Ups and Downs Southwest – a Somerset based charity - are Higos’ partner charity of the year and work hard supporting parents, carers, families, friends and professionals involved with a child who has Down Syndrome.
Higos were delighted to donate the money to such an incredible, deserving charity and presented the cheque for £1,500 to Michelle Sugg, Fundraising and Public Relations Officer for Ups and Downs, and her son Joseph.
Members of Higos Charity Committee had previously met with Ups and Downs Southwest to find out their plans for the year and where Higos could support them.
Higos donated £1,500 to help fund the charity's summer trip to Crealy Adventure Park and also help towards their rebranding. Ups and Downs Southwest hope to redesign their logo and update their advertising as a whole. The rebrand aims to help the charity reach out to more people who may need their support and give a clearer, more concise view of the charity and its aims.
