July Higos Coronavirus Travel Insurance Update!

Coronavirus Travel Update & What It Means For Travel Insurance.

Over the last few months we have been closely monitoring the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the COVID-19 situation develops, we want to keep our travelling clients up to speed with the changes that will impact them. We are pleased to announce we are now able to offer existing travel insurance for renewals and new travel insurance quotations however with specific restrictions in place and in accordance to the FCO travel advice.

The FCO has issued a new travel advisory notice for British nationals, they are continuing to advise against non-essential international travel, apart from some countries and territories which has been exempted that no longer pose a high risk for British travellers. Please see the full list of exempted countries and territories that came into effect on the 4th of July. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

The list is changing frequently and it’s important to review should any trips abroad be planned. If you are planning travel abroad in the weeks and months ahead, we advise to check the FCO travel checklist. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus#plan-for-your-travel-checklist
